Dr. Jerry J. Lamendola, DPM

Dr. Jerry J. Lamendola is Board certified in foot and ankle surgery, podorthics and laser surgery. Dr. Lamendola is a native of Detroit, growing up in Michigan. Dr. Lamendola received his undergraduate degree from University of Detroit in Michigan. He earned his medical degree at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Lamendola completed his residency at Women’s General Hospital in Cleveland OH, where he had comprehensive surgical training in foot and ankle. Dr. Lamendola is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Lamendola is an adjunct faculty member at the Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine and teaching staff at the University Hospital Podiatric Residency Program. Dr. Lamendola serves as director of Lamers Orthotic Lab and has been a practicing physician in Lakewood, OH for the past 32 years.

Dr. Lamendola has special interests in biomechanics, stem cell therapy, sports medicine, limb salvage, wound care, diabetes education, forefoot procedures including correction of bunion and digital deformities.

In his free time, Dr. Lamendola enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He enjoys traveling, cooking and the theatre. He is a Cleveland sports fan, enjoys watching the Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavaliers.
 

 
 

Dr. Ashley M. Mandela, DPM, AACFAS

Dr. Ashley Mandela is an ABFAS Board Qualified foot and ankle surgeon. Dr. Mandela is a native of Cleveland, growing up in Seven Hills. Dr. Mandela received her undergraduate degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati. She earned her medical degree at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Mandela completed her three-year surgical residency at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, where she had comprehensive surgical training, specifically in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Mandela was Chief Resident her final year of her surgical residency. During her residency, she has published research on transmetatarsal amputation suture technique, double plating fixation approaches for forefoot & rearfoot procedures, and carbon fiber fixation in podiatric surgery.

Dr. Mandela has special interests in sports medicine, limb salvage, wound care, diabetes education, forefoot procedures including correction of bunion and digital deformities, as well as reconstructive rearfoot and ankle procedure.

In her free time, Dr. Mandela enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She is very proud of her Polish heritage; she enjoys cooking and baking especially Polish recipes that have been passed through the generations. She is a Cleveland sports fan, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and physical activities such as running, kayaking, swimming and hiking.

 

 
 

Dr. Thomas E. Emmert, DPM

Dr. Thomas E. Emmert is a native of Long Island, New York. Dr. Emmert received his undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University, New York. He earned his medical degree at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Emmert completed his preceptorship at Total Foot Care where he had comprehensive training in podiatric medicine. Dr. Thomas Emmert has been practicing physician in Cleveland for the past 26 years.

Dr. Emmert has special interests in podiatric medicine, wound care, diabetes education, and limb preservation. In his free time, Dr. Emmert enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons and playful dog, Walter. He likes seeking out new restaurants and cuisine with his wife. Dr. Emmert also has an avid passion for finding new microbrewies and enjoys beer tasting. Dr. Emmert is fond of spending his time outdoors and walking the dog.

Dr. Michael G. Coppers, DPM

Dr. Michael Coppers is a native of Cleveland. Dr. Coppers received his undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. He earned his medical degree at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Coppers completed his preceptorship at Central Podiatry Associates, Inc where he had comprehensive training in podiatric medicine. Dr. Coppers has been a member of the Northwest Ohio Academy of Podiatric Medicine, a continuing education coordinator for Northwest Ohio Academy of Podiatric Medicine and a Chairperson of State Peer Review Committee of the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Michael Coppers has been practicing physician in Cleveland and Toledo for the past 42 years.

Dr. Coppers has special interests in wound care, diabetes education, and limb preservation. In his free time, Dr. Coppers enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys biking, kayaking and hiking.
